UK Global Talent Visa Updates (2025) - Tech Nation route
There have recently been important updates to the endorsement rules for UK Global Talent visa under the Digital Tech route.
I'm honestly relieved to see these changes. Over the past year or so, I found myself repeating to clients, like a broken record: "I wish the Tech Nation visa guide was updated here, here and here". I saw an ever growing gap between what the guide explicitly stated and how endorsement decisions were being made in reality, so much so that I started to feel like applying without external help of a coach or a lawyer, just based on the guide, was no longer possible.
There was simply not enough information in it, and parts of the guide felt super confusing and vague to many of the applicants I spoke to.
The guide is now much closer to what I tell my clients during our 1:1 coaching sessions, and I think it has just become a much more useful resource.
Hopefully, a lot more people will be able to successfully get endorsed on their own, with just the guide as their primary resource.
I'm also happy that my Premium course doesn't need any major updates since I've been sharing this very guidance all along, based on hundreds of cases that I've observed (in my coaching practice and out in the wild). The course is still useful, and an amazing deal (you get 16 video lessons for less than an hour of 1:1 coaching with me).
So, to me, these updates don't change that much.
However, if you are planning to apply for your endorsement soon, get in touch if something about these updates is unclear. Your documents might need to be adjusted to be endorsed under the new rules.
Also, make sure you ask your coach or lawyer that they are aware of the updated guidance and your documents still meet it.
Good luck!
